Hello, Dr. Keiser originally prescribed me to use Breo Ellipta inhaler, it was expensive, but it helped me and I did used it for few months,
Then I switched job and got new plan and I couldn’t effort to buy medication any more. I requested to filled me a new prescription with similar inhaler which would be free for me. I stopped last Wednesday and asked doctor to fill prescription for Symbicort – which is the same inhaler, but different producer and I called and verified with AZ nurse that it’s the same medication. He didn’t, he gave me the same Brio Ellipta prescription.
I called office multiple times with request for Symbicort, I left three massages and I spoke with receptionist twice the last week and a week before. Last Friday 8/12/2022 receptionist promised to me that prescription will be filled by the end of the day, still nothing. At this point I am out of medication and they didn’t have any samples to give me last week.
I don’t know what else I can do and I don’t understand why doctor refuses to provide for me prescription for different inhaler?
No one contacting me even after multiple requests. Please help. Thank you
